There are many things that I am not very good at when it comes to computers and macros is one of them.

I never use macros. In fact, I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Not too long ago I came across the website in the site does a great job of explaining macros and how they are used. This is their explanation of macros:

Macros are used in Microsoft Excel, Word and even Outlook to automate repetitive tasks, some of which would take you endless wasted hours. A lot of users don’t use or even know about the benefits of macros. Do you fall into this category?  If your answer is yes to the following two questions, then you should be using macros to do the work for you.

(1) Do you use Microsoft Word, Excel or Outlook as part of your daily routine?

(2) Do you perform similar or repetitive tasks on a daily basis?
