This is a great time of year to change your passwords for your bank accounts, online accounts, credit card accounts and anywhere else you use a password.

I always tell my students to have three passwords that they use on a regular basis. If the first one doesn’t work try, the second one and then the third one. If you forget your password you’ll know it is one of the three primary passwords that you use. It is very important that you use good passwords. Password should be a combination of numbers, letters and symbols, such as an exclamation point or question mark. In addition, use a combination of lowercase and capital letters.

I’ve included some links to articles that describe good password practices. Have you updated your passwords this year?
